Update on visiting the practice

As a precautionary measure to help prevent the spread of the new Covid-19 variant Omicron we have taken the decision to put our door back on the buzzer system.

This is to allow us to check you are wearing the correct face covering, do not have any Covid-19 symptoms, control the flow and ensure your safety whilst visiting the surgery.

We will still deal with enquiries at the front desk as long as you conform to the above criteria, but suggest it would be safer to call or use the website to contact us during this wave of Omicron.

To help facilitate the roll out of the booster vaccine we have been asked to provide staff and as such, we may need to defer non-urgent appointments. If we need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, we will call you so please refrain from calling the surgery to check on the status of your appointment.

If you could please try to call before 11:00 for on the day appointments, this will help us ensure all that need to be seen can be seen.

Can we please ask if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, then you get a PCR test as the Lateral flow tests are for those who are non-symptomatic?

Please remember that we have very vulnerable patients coming to the surgery and we must ensure their safety whilst they seek medical care from us. This means you will be required to wear a mask or face shield whilst in the surgery at all times, exemptions do not apply.

Please bear with us during these very busy unprecedented times, we will continue to do our very best to ensure your queries/concerns are dealt with but his may not always be a face-to-face appointment.

We would like to thank all our patients for their continued support during 2021.
